Warrant from Edward Carr, Warden to Town Sargent Abel Franklin to notify the freemen to appear on the third Wednesday of April i.e. April 19, at the home of Samuel Slocum for our town election of town officers and to draw jurors to serve at the next Inferior Court of Common pleas and general session of the peace to be held in Newport on Monday, May 20 and to represent the town in the next general election to be held in Newport and to put in proxy votes for general officers and also to consider how they will raise money to discharge the town debts and to do any other business.
