Warrant from Edward Carr, Warden to Town Sargent John Carr to notify the freemen to meet at the Stone Schoolhouse on July 29, 1775 because Edward Carr has received information from several freemen of the town that the treaties of Jamestown hath by order of the General Assembly been arrested for some deficiencies in the last colony rate. To meet in order to advise what way the treaties shall be indemnified and discharged to put a stop to any further charge that may accrue against the town.
